Spain

Like a work in progress, Nigel Kent teases his audience with what will be rather than what is.

Two teenage girls talk about their job and how much they hate it. One of them suggests going to Spain, where the wages are better. The other is more sceptical or afraid.

Obviously, the business of the film will take place over there, but it never crosses the Channel. The girls walk away and the movie fades with them.

Shorts have their own time and space. It doesn't matter if the rest of the story forgets to turn up. What you have here is a conversation and as conversations go, it is more of a whinge than a revelation.
